About the Art:
Ingre's drawing of Paganini was the inspiration for my design, as was the history of the violin and its renowned
makers in bella l'Italia.
The winning raffle ticket for this violin was drawn on
November 10, 2004.
About the Artist:
Sharon is a professional artist and teacher in Williamsburg where she lives with her husband and son.
She has been painting for 10 years with watercolor as her favorite medium. A graduate of the College of William and Mary
in Fine Arts and Elementary Education, Sharon currently teaches art at Williamsburg Christian Academy. She has taught
classes for This Century Art Gallery as well as privately; she exhibits and sells her work in shows locally and out of the state.
