Community Outreach Programs
KIDS ART DAY :
Kids Art Day is an Annual Community Outreach Event open to all area youth
through age 14. This fun-filled day of hands-on, creative art activities for
children
and their families is held each Spring at the gallery’s Art Education Center.
Details will be available in the local schools and on our website in February.
Volunteers
from TCAG hold weekly art classes for inmates
in the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail,
and the gallery hosts an annual exhibition
of their work in the Kiwanis Children’s
Gallery upstairs.

Art classes for children
with disabilities will be offered in cooperation
with the student volunteers from the college of William & Mary and the
James City County Department of Parks & Recreation.
